on looks alone, it is beautiful. about the only spot it would be any kind of weak, would be where the wood legs split to catch the base. but who knows where the yield point is at? that might be a solid 400lb chair....... you might do some research and find out where the accepted breaking point is at for furniture(fat person approval?)
